The NSW Centre for Effective Reading is a joint NSW Department of Education and NSW Health initiative.
This centre and site has two functions:
- The direct assessment and intervention services for eligible students with complex reading difficulties in rural and remote primary schools, as well as support for their teachers and parents or carers.
- A dedicated website with information about teaching, reading and supporting students with reading difficulties.
